The Wej-It Strike-It CP5840 pin drive anchor is made of hot rolled steel and hot wrought iron, provides a secure hold in normal weight concrete, lightweight concrete, and solid masonry, and meets Federal Specification GSA FFS-325 Group II, Type 4, Class 1. The anchor consists of a hot rolled steel body and a hot wrought iron pin, which drives into the anchor with a hammer (sold separately) to expand the anchor body within the mounting material and hold it in place. The anchor also includes a nut that adjusts the anchor tension once installed and is serrated on the underside to grip the mounting surface for vibration resistance. The anchor is installed properly when the pin is flush against the nut, enabling accurate and quick inspection.Warning: Use one-fourth or less of listed maximum values for safe working loads (as required by local regulations).
